Artist’s Statement: Most recently my work has been about colour and shape relationships. I am very process-oriented and I love to spend time in the studio just figuring sh*t out. Finding out what creates a dynamic and compelling composition is my goal. I spend a lot of time just getting the right colour: sometimes multiple layers of teal with just a touch more white, — dang, no — it needs a touch more blue — dang, no — it just needs to be green and so on….
