Anchored in the 26 year Canmore roots of Elevation Gallery,  Concourse by Elevation Gallery will be a hub of arts and culture with reach far beyond Alberta.  Elevation Gallery is an established contemporary art gallery based in Canmore, Alberta since 1998. Owned and operated by Canmore local Cheryl Baxter, the gallery has developed a reputation for presenting innovative and accessible work, with more than 8000 collectors worldwide.  Our substantial online presence is owed to our more than 50 mid-career professional artists, and our wonderful locations in Lethbridge, AB and Fernie, BC. 

Concourse by Elevation Gallery is a thriving centre of arts activity, surrounded by a real gallery experience.  In the attached studio spaces, Councourse hosts a combination of permanent and rotating professional artists. Our visitors will have the chance to view artists in action and learn about their concepts, processes and techniques. Councourse also boasts a boardroom/teaching room where artists will host workshops and industry discussions.

With a bold new approach to client experience, Councourse introduces our private Client Lounge, a serene space in the centre of it all that will allow a personal and relaxed experience for clients in viewing original art. Our knowledgeable staff will invite you to share a glass of wine while you consider a collection of original works. Book ahead for a completely tailored viewing experience.

Councourse is also home to Studio Energy, a boutique energy transitions consulting firm. Studio Energy has been working in conjunction with Elevation Gallery for more than 3 years to create an arts linkage in delivery of energy transition models, now hoping to engage artists-in-residence to produce work aligned with the Studio’s policy project at hand.
