“As an artist, I navigate two streams of work. The first focuses on colourful urban landscapes, exploring the intersections of time and memory found within the urban environment. Drawn to the complexity of city life, I seek moments that reveal the layered stories within these vibrant metropolitan settings. Rich in symbols, text, and vivid colours, my paintings invite viewers to reflect upon their own narratives, and uncover hidden meanings amidst the urban chaos.

The second stream features ephemeral paintings on cardboard, challenging notions of permanence in art. Marked with paint drips and personal notations, these works reflect life’s transient nature. Recurring motifs, like three skulls—a memento mori—prompt contemplation of life’s brevity and the importance of cherishing each moment.

Both streams explore the fleeting nature of existence and the stories that shape our lives. While my ephemeral works emphasize impermanence, my urban landscapes capture enduring narratives. Together, they offer a holistic view of memory, time, and connection, celebrating the beauty of moments and the bonds we share with our environments and each other.”
